What is fehn?

fehn is a social app that lets you share where you're going tonight with your friends. You can see how many people from your circle are heading to the same places — but only if you've shared your own plan first.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your username
• Your display name (optional)

When you use the app, we collect:

• Plans you create (where you say you're going tonight)
• Your friend connections
• Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)

How we use your information

• To show your friends how many people are going to each place (not who specifically)
• To send you push notifications if you enable them
• To let you find and connect with friends by username

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who can see your data

Your plan (where you're going) is visible to your friends as a count only — they see "3 friends going" not your name specifically, unless they are also going to the same place and have set their own plan.

Your username is searchable by other fehn users so friends can find and add you.

Data retention

Plans automatically expire at 4:00 AM each night and are deleted from our servers.

Your account data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.

Third-party services

fehn uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database, and push notifications. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Children

fehn is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
